Well done Wales. Really enjoyed that - not for the rugby, but the intensity was unbelievable.

For anyone neutral, or anyone new to the game, that must have been an AMAZING game to watch. Brilliant brutal rugby from both sides, played with real heart.

However, for anyone supporting one of the teams, an utterly awful nerve shredding nightmare.

Brilliant rugby. Hat, England, hat. A credit to the game.

To throw it to 2 then drive blind from the lineout was criminal...poor decision from the England leaders.
Losing Vunipola was massive for England...poor substitutions from Lancaster...Ben Youngs was having an excellent game with Farrell...crazy

Far too many hipster beards in the England team, no wonder they lost.

๐Ÿ˜†

It was the razor sharp haircuts that injured Wales though.

Cracking game.....Wales by far the better team second half. Well done to them. England going to struggle to make it out of the group now....

Fiji might have enjoyed that too...
And if they can , big if, get a result this week it could still end up with three teams battling for second place and bonus points...

Group A looks as interesting as B now

Cracking World Cup, this

Even when England were on top, too many penalties allowed Wales to stay in touch.

I get that William supports Wales seeing as his Dad's the Prince of Wales, so why does Harry support England?

Oh......

Are we finally at the stage where Hook gets a call up?

Williams looked like a lower leg break, Liam concussion, Amos bicep. Maybe we'll get Liam Williams back for future games but he didn't look happy. Hope his neck is ok and the bang to the head from yet another clumsy England back rower isn't too bad. Credit to Lloyd Williams for effectively turning around the game with some individual brilliance too

The air is going to be a bit sweeter and the sun a bit brighter in the Doethie Valley tomorrow.

Offloads from Vunipola et al, breaks from Williams etc. Some great tactical kicking from both sides at times.

Oh, and Sam Burgess done did some kicks. ๐Ÿ™‚

Really enjoyed that, the team who tried to play rugby came through. If you set up to be negative then you get what you deserve. Australia will hardly be too worried about either of them

Wtf were you watching if you didn't see skill.

Poor game management, poor decision making but plenty of skill on show.

Well played Wales.
Don't think England will get out of the group. Wales should be seriously worried about level of injuries

Truly satisfying to see all the gloating come out so soon.
I just hope your injuries are not too bad as that will really cause issues later on

So, Wales beat Fiji, England beat Aus, Aus beat Wales, but eng & Wales qualify because Cheika didn't think about bonus points?

Still a long way to go - today England's inexperience cost them a game they were in control of.

Just watched it on catch up. Holy shit.

I thought at first it would be a nail biter, then at half time I was paying England compliments. I reckon they played top notch rugby in terms of approach and attitude, best I've seen them.play in ages. Tactical mistakes though.

Wales needed a prod though.. Half time, then those injuries ignited a bit of anger and it turned the tables.

Truly satisfying to see all the gloating come out so soon.

Wales travelled to Twickenham short of how many 1st choice players? Wasn't it 5 from the intended squad. They fielded an inexperience wing, the 2nd choice scrum-half, an injured full-back and a massively under-powered front row. They then lost another 3 players through the game.

And won.

In Twickenham.

England had all the advantage.

I think a little gloating is allowed before Australia rip Wales to pieces. ๐Ÿ˜†

(England need to be more than a little concerned about the selection, and the performance and replacement policy.)

England need to be most concerned about the penalty count. You'll never win if you're giving 20+ points away through pure stupidity.

Incredible and through sheer determination the right result.

England must wonder what they have to do after 60 minutes of dominance pegged back only by the glorious boot of Dan Biggar.

Gwlad!

You won't believe this but a GIANT just walked by my window. He's now curled in a ball at the end of the road, crying

TCUP fail and replacement cock up +gazillions

When the long range W penalty went straight through the middle I felt it was going to be one of those days!!

Poor to hear singing during penalties - Twickers is usually better than that - and it was bloody SWLC as well.

Massive congratulations to Wales to win a game they should not have had a look in. Smart work for the try. England substitutions (injury related or not) had a bigger impact than the Welsh. A game we should have seen out being 10 up with 20 to go. Line out call was totally idiocy. Just look at prior line out which was dire with a terrible throw. My 6 pence is Farrell didn't fancy the kick. In any case a stupid call.

I thought JW and other studio pundits where spot on with their analysis of the poor defensive decisions for the Welsh try, rushed up and created space behind.

Australia is now a knock out game for England. Only cancellation is I could see Fiji nabbing a result against a depleted Wales and they will be very much second Favourites to Australia.

Well done Wales

POSTED 51 MINUTES AGO # REPORT-POST

Don't speak with your mouth full, you'll spray pie everywhere!
About to sneak downstairs and watch it. Sounds like a tense, tight game and fair play to the English supporters on here for not going into "Steve Walsh" mode.

Fiji game is far from a foregone conclusion for Wales, and they are unlikely to beat Oz. This group isn't over yet.
