I'm going - soloing.Trekster - you camping or heading back to Dumfries? If you're staying over will catch up with you for a beer.
What's the consensus on bike and tyres........? I've not decided yet if I'll be on a nice and comfy full susser or a jey hardtail.

Only got one bike, the Blue Pig with a Spesh tyre of some description and a 2yr old Loco Lobo on the back, all I have 😆
New Charge Spoon fitted today tho, probably not a good idea 🙄 but the old one is knackered(like me 😉 ).

Raining as per forecast but warm, to be 18deg apparently.
Need a lot more rain. The res supplying my area is well down on what is needed and we are about to go into a drought order situation.
