Not that I have... but as the Mighty Vectra has been disloyal of late it has set my mind wandering.

I'd get one of these.

Heh!

Can we just post pics of utterly unsuitable cars, so HTS ends up banging his head against a wall until his son brings him a cheese sandwich?

8.5k will get you this. I would prefer a flat front, but hey.

Citroen DS... and if I had another imaginary £10k and somewhere to park it I would.

Escort eh? You can take the boy out of Radcliffe etc.

If you live out of London and have a decent size drive...

[img] [/img]

If you live in London and need to park on the street...

[img] [/img]

If you're looking for some excitement, what about an ex-police car?

That DS estate is the nicest car ive seen in a long while.
Id use the ten grand buying a T4 and filling it up a couple of times.

It's a Citroen DS; one of the most beautiful cars ever made. This is an early 70s model I think; it had the iconic 'teardrop' shaped lamp housings, with headlamps that turned with the steering wheel, enabling illumination round tight bends.

It's a gorgeous, sexy, sensuous vehicle. More than just a car.

XR2 with Pepper Pots eh?

That takes me back to The Welly car park on a Friday evening. Stella, grope and pudding and chips.

terrahawk - gotta be the Supersport over the XR2. Only a 1.3, rather than 1.6, but mine kept up with any XR2 and was much more exclusive....

(not mine)

Golf R32 :). Had one for 18months - quick, good for bikes and not too thirsty.

Yes. My first car was a Supersport, just like the one in the pic.

If there's any left, I'll be purchasing a nice one when I have some spare cash.

09 Mondeo Zetec 2.0 Tdci just like mine. I'd definitely buy the same again. Great car unless you feel the need for your car to compensate for lack of personality 😉

Yeah, sorry couldn't be bothered to spend ages googling. They look the same other than the double exhaust on the Ti.

EDIT actually mine's more betterer because it came with the sport pack which adds the rear wing-ette 😉

Lol - double exhaust, skirts, front & rear bumpers and alloys, but otherwise almost the same, yeah 😉

Nah basically same alloys and bumpers at least as far as I can see but then I just use it for getting round, not cruising...

I'm not sure what skirts are in this respect 😯

I had one of them Mk1 XR2s as my first car. Cracker it was until i wrote it off. Those pepper pot wheels didn't take kindly to hitting a concrete post at 70mph, not sure i found all the bits, but then i didn't hunt in the field for that long. 😳
