Still reading Issue 138, 1 Article per night before turning off the bedside lamp. Will 139 arrive before I run out of things to read?

@thegeneralist less of a generalist then? All bikes are good!

@weeksy read a whole copy and send me your thoughts. Feedback is always welcome. Different people like different things, and if only the loud and shouty people tell us what they like, that's all we know about.

@stwhannah
You know what i'd like to see, some grass roots racing. Obviously i'm quite biased that my lad is now doing DH and Enduro racing, but every weekend there are stories and stories on different races... Issue 138 has some in it, which is absolutely brilliant.

I think the problem you've got it appealing to all riders, you simply cannot do it... The stories on overnight camping trips, they're not for me... the tests on XC bikes, again, not for me... but they could easily be right for way more people on here than me...

As far as magazines go, i think STW is great... but i'm quite specific in my needs.

Touché 🙂
Though the nom actually refers to a general liking for different sports rather than a liking for different genres of cycling.

However although road bikes and cargo bikes are also good, I have no interest in reading about them
Having said which, I know I am in the minority so I'll accept it. Was just giving my standpoint as a subscriber to help support editorial decisions about future content.

@thegeneralist well that's a whole debate isn't it! Where do we draw the line on bikes we cover? Is it all off road bikes? Or all off road bikes with flat bars? Do they have to have a suspension fork? Or a tyre over a certain width? Can it have a motor? Maybe we need a column so you can all debate this in the comments 🙂

@weeksy do you follow our Making Up The Numbers content? There's some good race stuff in there.

No idea what that is sorry. As I say, I barely read anything outside of the forum.
A lot of it seems to be directly from pinkbike, I don't know who gets it first, you or them but it's very similar a lot of times.
The main stw homepage, I rarely go to. Sorry

Any chance of an article about cash-starved, time-starved mountain bikers who live on the fringes of Lincolnshire with no decent local riding, riding outdated 26ers that are poorly maintained and are one medium sized rut away from falling to bits?
These riders do however have access to plenty of Guy Martin bike wash and an STW tea towel.

It would be quite a niche article, admittedly.

Can't wait for the new issue, usually take my time over the mag but read most of it on the train down to London a few weeks back. Only got one article left to read and I'm kinda holding out on that until the next mag is due.

Looking forward to the Orbea Rise Review. One of the only E-bikes, along with the Levo SL, that I have any interest in!

I'm looking forward to another story from Markus Stitz. I really enjoyed his ride along the path of the Berlin wall. Should have some cracking pictures, too, if his Instagram account is anything to go by.

We did do a Classic Ride there a few years ago, in the, er, wilds of the Wolds. I enjoyed writing it. Perhaps we need a return, eh?
