Red Bull banned from Welsh mansion after Hardline damage

According to the headline, that linked article and several people on here, it's Red Bull that has been banned, having booked accommodation at Plas Tan-yr-allt. I'd always thought that they were simply a sponsor, albeit a very high profile one. Sponsors don't normally get involved in the nitty gritty of event organisation. Are Red Bull events different in this regard?

Rule 1 definitely applies.
It’s half-wit behaviour by individuals possibly being paid to behave like half-wits.

Not only paid but expected by social media...

PSA one lightly used Pivot went on sale last night on the local Guildford selling pages

Perhaps he had realised early on that a face nappy made no difference to the so called ‘pandemic’.

oh your one of them types are you? The NHS has obvs still got it wrong asking people to wear mask in health care settings to help protect vulnerable people.

You just described hardline as it is

I get in the scheme of a World Cup DH it may be, but I was amazed how much infrastructure was required for the event when I drove past it. Fields full of lorries etc. All them people must go somewhere to stay, and there isnt much accommodation in the area.

indeed, I was responding to the previous post asking if Hardline was more than just normal RB event sponsorship

They don’t camp in a field!

They might be this year. Might make it a bit harder for them to trash stuff.

Modern society innit. People act like dicks. Put it on social media. Get likes/subscribes/views. Means you don't have to get a proper job.

a face nappy

Should be worn by people who spout uncontrollable crap

Rider antics - they're not 80s Motley Crue but still I don't see how you just switch off after something like that. Some will be able to but many won't. Not excusing it, just saying some of it goes with the territory and the ability to switch a part of your thinking off.

I remember walking into a pub and finding a bunch of folk in coveralls talking very animatedly.

Turns out they were rally crews who had decided to go to the pub after finishing the event and hadn't bothered changing out of their race gear. Some were staring into space and some were talking way way to fast about absolute bollocks. Some seemed pretty normal.

No fire extinguishers were set off at any point during the night.

davey – run along and play with the traffic.

Same old tired response dirgelad, how’s it feel to out yourself as below average intelligence?.

And as for nappy, does your mum still check you’ve wiped properly?

You do realise they are only repeating the official government line spouted by Boris and Hancock?

It's an inevitable consequence that Boris and Hancock stood on a podium on national TV and barefaced lied anbd claimed they were following the science that when they change the lie some will continue to believe the old one.

Much as I dislike the energy drink part of the business RB do seem to do more than just chuck some sponsorship money.
Their sponsored athletes seem to get pretty good medical as well.

In MTB I think Hardline and Rampage ARE RB... way beyond chucking some money

Given its a RB marketing even rather than a race I suspect they are part of the organisation. I doubt the Athertons organise it on their own through their own company and staff, they are a race team and a trail crew, not a marketing events organiser
