Handmade by a bloke in a shed using a dream combo of Reynolds and Columbus tubing and brazed by the company founder is never going to be cheap , I couldn't stretch to the full price this was happenstance.
I had one of the very first SuperX frames probably a good 25 years ago now. One of the few bikes I miss... Also had 2x S1s which I also miss - every superlative you've ever read about steel frames in a single package. No other steel frame I've ever had rode like they did.
I've wanted one since way before when there was only one wheel size ( remember that )
Agreed with what you said about how it rides , I've had a few steel bikes including a Cove Hand job made with Columbus and nothing has come close . When I picked up the frame Gary said the tubing combination is the best he's done and is so pleased with the result
