The USA just lifted the pre departure covid testing requirement! This is the best birthday present I could possibly have had! Was feeling totally unable to look forward to my sabbatical, with the prospect of not actually knowing if we could board the flight until the last day of the school term, all the end of school year fun stuff and mixing etc. Hoping that perhaps tonight I will actually get to sleep through and not be woken by travel nightmares! 🎉🙂
