Looks great, they missed a trick by not calling it a SPCTRL.

CLLCTV - The most elaborate butchered shorthand version of a word since txt spk became uncool.

Nice review James, bet that's a great bike for the Surrey Hills and for mucking about in the woods generally.

Probably the most surprising thing is that it's in stock for immediate delivery.

@chakaping - thanks! You've got it spot on - it's a heck of a lot of fun in the woods, and just loves shimmying its way through the twisty stuff. I think if warp speed rocky blasting is more your bag then the 29 would still be the way to go, but if you have a penchant for steeper trails, this is well worth checking out.

and was out of stock by yesterday afternoon.

@justinbieber Interesting that the Canyon "trail" bike is now up to 160/150 (a few years back the 27.5 version was 140/140 with a 150 fork option. Slack as you like too. What's the difference between this and an Enduro bike these days? is the suspension still tuned more for climbing than descending?

The travel has been upped to give a little more clarity between this and the 130mm travel Neuron, otherwise there’s just a bit too much overlap in the range. it still pedals well, although if you’re looking for more of a trail bike then the full 29 option would be the way to go.

Canyon told us at the launch, that the Strive is still their out and out Enduro race bike as it’s got a little extra travel front and rear. I’ve not ridden that bike though, so can’t comment specifically why it’s any better for racing.
