Is Hecklers Rock still a big deal? I was there in 2010 the atmosphere was insane and the flaming of the poor unfortunates stuck on the chairlift with their rental bikes was relentless! ????

I'd love to go back to Whistler but I'd swerve Crankworx. It gets absolutely rammed on the mountain and in town. It's better at literally every other time in the season.

@sharkattack - that's strange - we accidentally booked our trip to include Whistler without realising Crankworx was on back in 2016 and didn't find it busy on the actual trails at all. Was a bit strange coming down to the finish area just as the likes of Manon, Blenki and others were finishing their runs.

Like shark attack. I would love to back and ride the park, and more importantly the trails outside the park. However I would also swerve crankworx as I’m not really in to the spinny flippy stuff beyond admiring the skill and the rest is just filler without the worlds best there.

I'd go, just for the atmosphere. The only other thing I'd add is however big you think those features are, IRL, they're way way bigger. I was there (humblebrag) just after Crankworx a few years back, and even half torn down - by quite large earth moving equipment, standing on the edge of some of the jumps in  the arena was vertiginous.

Youthful revelry is one way to describe it.

Pissed up bellendry is another. I was there for the last one, it was savage.

Meh - I thought STW towers normally stated when an article was a paid-for advertorial.
