Nope, never experienced any of those things. Don't know what you're on about really. Wait......you're Northerners aren't you? Tsk.........
You're right Squirrel but then again we're not rich soft southerners who take our bike to the shop for easy tasks, watching them work on it while sitting there shlurpping on a silly named cold coffee. Touche I do believe.
Yes - all of those. Aside for the gears but it has been ruined by other peoples gears.
It matters not whether you are southern or northern.
Yep, itchy head is a killer
That is exactly where my Commencal snapped, fortunately on a very mundane bridleway.
@Hannah Dobson
5 years on and not much has changed except that you can now add ..........
Battery anxiety
Motor failure
Covid
Solo (socially distanced) rides
Friends with e-bikes who want to carry on as soon as you, on your normally aspirated bike, get to the top of the climb
Broken parts that you know won't be available when you do finally get home and have interwebby access
Climate change means more bugs, especially Ticks!
@Scott_Biles that's a good list of additions!
Also:
getting stuck in one gear when your battery runs out
getting stuck with a fixed seatpost when you battery runs out
getting lost when your battery runs out
...there's a theme here!
