Cool.

Right executive decision. I was going for the Big Foot Hills as it has a bit of everything but its a good 2 hours, so may be too long for some. So instead I'm thinking Triple loops in London, about 40km, taking in both surrey hills.

That work?

Hey... tickets to Knockhatch and the Quadapillar barrel bug ride are a VALID excuse for an early bail!

Thanks for this morning for the brief time I joined you!

@oopnorth I am trying to work out the best day for a commute this week. Doesn’t fit in well with the race series does it!

@Robbo not really. I fancy a morning off tomorrow, Tuesday is race day, Wednesday I'll probably be dead from the race but I may soft spin. Thursday is likely for me but I know you have the TTT. Also Friday works for me.

I'm up for a Sunday ride. Happy to organise one, do we fancy something "flat" for a change or usual Sunday hills?

I'll likely play depending on start time... I'll happily do flat or hilly. Weather looking rubbish at weekend so riding indoors likely.

I'm guessing about 8.30 - seem to recall that suited mostly for a 10/10.30 finish.

I'll have a look see at route options and post up later.

Had a quick glance at route overviews - tire bouchon or London pretzel may suit?

France is mostly flat with the petit kom in both directions - 431m over 61k so should be comfortably <2hrs in a group.

London pretzel again mostly flat with box&fox in the middle 531m over 55k so again should be plenty under 2hr in a group

Can't commit this weekend as I've a lot on. Will be jumping on Zwift when time allows between family duties.

Should be back to normal next week and can join then.

8:30 would be ideal, I've not done London Pretzel so that would be good, we've done a fair bit in France of late, but happy to go with consensus view

I cant do this Sunday. I will be on the bike at some point tomorrow doing a TR workout (but in Zwift). I need to tick Surrey Hills of my route list so will likely do that late morning.

Makes two of us - late which morning 😉

You are the consensus. I'll send invites this afternoon unless there's a sudden outcry for something else between now and 4ish.

One weekend we need to plan in the Watopia Pretzel, but that will take a few hours....

Have a good one, think I might jump on tomorrow morning and have a go at one of the Zwift Academy rides.

Prob about 11 on Saturday @dangeourbrain.

@oopnorth yeh Pretzel is on for a weekend at some point. As winter sets in I think it will be easier to get a complete morning free for me!

Not promising anything but drop me an invite for that if you don't mind, weather is looking rubbish and it'll make a change from trying to figure out how best to run cable round the garage

I have put an invite out. I am doing a workout at the same time (like we did the other Saturday) so I can put the rubber band on or not. Depends if you are worried about pace.

Not sure how long Surrey Hills takes!

Surrey Hills is horrible, climb after climb, after climb. Done it twice now, glad I have an excuse not to be on it again, enjoy!! You have to go up Fox hill twice, one is just the lead in and you finish the route on it the second time.

@Robbo - took me 1hr 50mins back in May, I'd hope to be quicker now.

I wont put the elastic band on then - Phil and Brian will be waiting all day for me! My workout is 4 x 10 mins at threshold - sounds like I will easily achieve that on the hills in any case so might just freeride it instead!

You should have an invite now Phil.

Anyone else want in let me know.

Don't worry on my account, it's good to have the company. (and if it's on I might just do something godawful foolish like dirty 30s for the whole ride.)

Righty - invites sent for Sunday not very hilly, London pretzel at 8.30am.

I can't see far enough back for my old invite list so I've just spammed all of you.

It's a good Route that one, 32km of flat lead in before you hit the Fox and box hills, pity I can't make it.
