Anyone have experience of these rims. Are they strong enough for general xc.My local riding is mainly downland (nothing rocky),but i do weekend trips to places like Exmoor and the Brecons as well as some marathon and 24 hour events. The light weight appeals but don't want to have to keep getting them trued. Thanks for any advice.

I've ridden them for the Scottish XC races (so actually got rocks and drops on them... Can of worms opened!) for a season and a half now and they have been good and true. I am however a 9stone female, so probably doesn't help...

I've got a pair on my hemlock and no issues. mainly trail centre and local singletrack when baby allows. If your worried go for 355s, only a bit heavier but wider and stronger

They have a slightly more burly version that weighs 10gr less per rim too the Crest. Am building my new wheels using those rims. There is also the Olympic replacement the Alpine which is even lighter. From what I have heard they are able to withstand some beating despite their low weight so you should be good.

Our sponsored rider's been racing (and riding HARD) on them for a couple of years and has just got a new set after running over his old ones with a car. Awesome rim!
