I'm looking to upgrade my rear shock on my medium zesty 427 AM from the fox evolution CTD it came with, piggy back shocks apparently have clearance issues although I have heard of someone fitting a monarch plus to a large frame successfully.
Any one out there fitted anything else successfully? Usual recommendation is a CCDB inline but I'm put off by the high servicing costs so any suggestions welcome.
I've asked Lapierre they were no help unfortunately.
I fitted a CCDB Inline to my 2015 Zesty 427 and I've seen a CCDB Air on a Zesty but I don't know what size that frame was. With regard to servicing, I had mine serviced once after nearly 3 years of use (had it on my Zesty 314 beforehand) and TF said it was in 'good internal condition'. If that's any help.
Thanks, 3 years vs the 6 months Cane creek recommend! I may reconsider the Inline then.
