I'm interested to know what your club is like, either road or mtb.

Is it mainly race orientated, or more social/pleasure based?

And what about politics, attitudes and/or ego's?

What are the ages like, and what about gender?

Also, how often do you ride?

There's no particular reason for my asking, I'm just interested ๐Ÿ™‚

Cheers!

Road club. We have 17-66 year olds on our club but I would say the majority are 40+. No real politics. Some race but most don't. Saturdays are social rides and Sundays are a blood bath. Wednesdays are chaingangs. No big egos and plenty of p!ss taking.

Road (I partly formed it a few years back)
It covers all road with a sporting edge. Three groups leave the club rooms every Sunday.
Politics? well everyone is welcome. Egos? none.
Ages from 15 to mid 70's. We only have a few women.
How often, there will a ride every day of some sort or another. A busy week will see a member racing every day in various forms.

Very informal MTB club, catering for all speeds, genders & species.

The general philospy is....

Bikes[/*]
Mates[/*]
Trails[/*]
Cakes[/*]
Simple but a whole lot of fun
