Went out for a bimble this arvo and having stopped to take a shot for this thread, I rejoined the trail slowly cruising when I spotted this little fella just the other side of the hedge from me..

I couldn't get the second hand camera to do anything and it wasn't until later that I realised it was on a custom setting that I didn't recognise, but still managed to grab these two pics.. (oh for the days when I didn't instinctively reach for a camera when encountering nature close up)

The deer wasn't shy in the slightest and once he'd noticed me he moseyed over for a closer look

Bit late to the party but had a great weekend in the Lakes with the wife for our wedding anniversary. No big mountain riding but great all the same.

early friday morning watching the easy jet land in aberdeen.

Heading out straight from work for a decent length ride and bivy out in fetteresso somewhere followed by a decent length ride tomorrow while the wifes out supervising DOE groups.

Just back from a fab week in Dorset, on the Isle of Purbeck. Lots of walking and running, plus my first proper bike ride in years after recently getting back into it. After umming and aahing about 'upgrading' my bike to something more current, the week has convinced my to hang on to my Stiffee. Since the oily bits are already pretty worn, I took the opportunity to ride everywhere in the middle ring. Conversion to 1x11 is now on the cards. :mrgreen:

First weekend since I got the Ok to ride from my foot operation. Had a couple of pootles from home in the week then this weekend we have been playing in Wharncliffe and up onto Cutgate. Foot feels a lot better now I don't have as much metal in it.

Some craking pics there.

On Thursday this middle aged man go shown how to jump after a TMS AM session by one of the local Loose Riders

Then on Sunday a hot and humid 44km XC ride, despite the massive numbers of Golden Orb spiders setting up shop everywhere it was not too bad a ride.
Hong Kong Airport and the new Zuhai/Macua bridge being built in the background

Go 400 metres up though and you were in the clouds and a pleasant breeze.

Biggest road ride of the year so far for me on Saturday. Set off from my house in Lancashire at 6am

This was taken around three hours into the ride, just inside Yorkshire.

Four hours later I was back in Lancashire for this pick (and still had two hours to go !)I was behind those hills in the distance earlier in the ride 😯
