Did you take a picture of your bicep and post it on the internet without tensing? That could be a first.

Why do I open these threads? Looking at injuries (particularly facial ones!) completely wrecks my mojo for a couple of rides.

Yeah - he's fine - 3 fractures in C1, non-displaced - so fine apart from a stiff neck and a brace for 10 weeks - fine now ๐Ÿ™‚

I did my gonads 5 days before my wedding!

I unfortunately never bruise, even severe crashes don't cause bruise, not even 90mph crashes on motorbikes lol... if I did I would be permenantly black and blue.

My girlfriend on the other hand bruise at the thought of pain...

[img] [/img]

[img] [/img]

she feel off twice last time we went to Llandelga and looks pretty bruised afterwards

Another chance to show off the insides of my arm? ๐Ÿ˜›
This was a brake lever impalement:
[img] [/img]
That took 7 stitches to fix, but then they thought I needed a more impressive scar...
[img] [/img]
Am now sporting this contraption, probably until I have a tendon transfer done at christmas time
[img] [/img]

Have to say - SO and lipseal that looks like it hurt more than my arm did!

Some pretty grim pics there and sending healing vibes, particularly to becky. How long do you have to keep that on for and how on earth are you managing? Do hope you'll be back on your bike before too long. ๐Ÿ™‚

I haven't taken any pics of mine but you guys would be dead jealous of my scabs. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Yeah, wouldn't believe it had caused that much damage - its the nerves that were damaged (which they then managed to make worse ๐Ÿ‘ฟ )

How long do you have to keep that on for and how on earth are you managing? Do hope you'll be back on your bike before too long.

That'll be on until either tendon transfer or until things spontaneously fix (very unlikely but I can hope...), you get used to it, was difficult at first though as its my dominant hand ๐Ÿ˜›

@Penguinni ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

A pic of some of my bruises from this years Alps trip, wiped out completely on a fire road of all places, the bruises are from the frame (you can see the one on the left is a bump too) ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

[IMG] [/IMG]

That was back in July, and I still have the remains of them.
