Got a coupe of bits to almost finish the winter HT build.

Lifeline lock on grips.
BX bar ends. Don't judge me!

What about you?

Just consumable stuff - cassette, fork seals and a couple of chainrings.
And another enduroguard. Nothing says winter like a mudguard and consumables.

It was meant to be a new saddle and grips.
But LBS had no saddles in stock, and one pair of grips at £36!
So no purchase.

Just fitted a 13-29 cassette & chain to my road bike to replace a 12-25. I tried it for the first time today. Not only have I got rid of the dodgy shifts but some of the nasty hills seem to have been flattened out a bit since the weekend.

And I am reminded just how lovely Record 10 speed is.

Quite a lot of bits that appear to be bolted together.

Yeah, but patience is a great virtue (hope to have them both by early April...)

Some consumables to replace stuff I've used up in recent weeks: a couple of sets of brake pads for the road bike and a 10spd chain - all but one of my bikes are 10spd so having one around is useful.

Some Schwalbe Fat Franks for the Soul. Because it's going to be a wee while before I can ride it offroad so I might as well have a bit of fun in the meantime, and I figure more tyre might be good for commuting while I rehab my wrist.

Somehow this nice cheap idea nearly ended with my buying a new Bfe26, but I resisted.

Still resisting

Garmin Edge 130 to replace my 5 year old Edge 200. The old one worked fine but firing up an ancient laptop just to downloads rides was becoming a chore. The added benefit of live segments is nice!

SRAM Rival brake pads from Discobrakes.

Not very exciting.

But saving and looking out for some new gravel wheels. Hunts would be nice. But open to anything (almost) as good.

(Stealth Wanted Ad) 😏

Just taken delivery of some finishing kit for new winter road bike, fluoro yellow Lizard Skins 3.2mm bar tape and fluoro yellow Elite bottle cage.

Technically ordered them in 2018 though so only 2019 purchase has been a PDW z-bracket to attempt some bodging with the mudguards to gain some precious extra clearance. I win most exciting purchase so far!

Some Thomson dirt drops and a stem on new years eve if that counts. And I ordered some mudguards about an hour ago.

Accidentally bought myself a cheap P7 29er on Christmas Eve so no 2019 purchases coming my way for a while.

Saying that, I do some more tubeless valves...

Not strictly a bike part but a new helmet. Seeing as I destroyed my last one and helmet light mount on the last ride of 2018 when I attacked a low branch with my head.
New one doesn't match my bike as well.

Garmin Edge 520. Have an 810,a 500 and a 200. The 500 is loaned out it I really need IQ Connect for a project. I so wanted the 130 but it doesn’t do activity profiles and I have a few on the 810, probably it’s most useful feature. I don’t use navigation beyond bredcrumb trails.

Unfortunately for my bank balance, my first 2019 purchase was a Carbon S works coil stumpjumper.

Fortunately for me, there was still some upgrading to be done, so it's been a busy few days for the credit card since Jan 1st.
