The guys an eejit, sorry but he is.
Let's see the bike. Mrs Mugsy and I are just building up some Ogre's.

Not really, just heroically lazy when it comes to bike maintenance(he's a postie after all ๐ )
mugsy - I don't have any pics of the full bike I'm afraid. It's a standard frame/fork combo, alfine 8. Not much to see I guess!
Good trade of light insults - my GF is a postie ๐
Sorry, to explain, I just think he's risking a nasty injury needlessly with that setup.
May the wind always be at your[his] back.

He'll be heroically soprano if he goes over the bars...I've seen somebody split their nut-sack on the filler cap of a motocross bike. Not pretty...
I totally agree mate, and I've told him so. Maybe he'll see this and it'll shame him into getting the hacksaw out ๐
Cant remember the last time i tried to sit on or mate with a stem. Slight over reaction maybe? Ive heard of worse injuries from brake levers going into peoples legs, maybe we should cut those off too ๐Sorry, to explain, I just think he's risking a nasty injury needlessly with that setup.
was going to say my new buil looked bad with to spacers above untill last night when i done the final cut....
but enough of that....JESUS that is a mess with the brake lever...
I can't figure out how that's happened! Right hand brake, but it's impaled his left hand? OUCHY ๐
Holy shit.
reminds me of mud cows. The guy with three vertical scars in the back of his neck, where his bars went through his neck...
Cant remember the last time i tried to sit on or mate with a stem.
That will be because your stem doesn't sit 6" higher than your bars.

Pass the eye bleach please.....
Some people will try anything to get free service from Hope...
What it doesn't say there is that it's a bit tricky/expensive to get Hope brakes in New Zealand (where the guy's from), so he got the doctors to cut open his hand instead of cutting through the brake, and that same lever is now back on his bike.
Tights/knee warmers in this weather?
Is that how you bleed brakes these days?
