Not really, just heroically lazy when it comes to bike maintenance(he's a postie after all 😉 )
mugsy - I don't have any pics of the full bike I'm afraid. It's a standard frame/fork combo, alfine 8. Not much to see I guess!

Cant remember the last time i tried to sit on or mate with a stem. Slight over reaction maybe? Ive heard of worse injuries from brake levers going into peoples legs, maybe we should cut those off too 😆Sorry, to explain, I just think he's risking a nasty injury needlessly with that setup.

Good idea. I'm going to fit coaster brakes....
was going to say my new buil looked bad with to spacers above untill last night when i done the final cut....
but enough of that....JESUS that is a mess with the brake lever...

That will be because your stem doesn't sit 6" higher than your bars.

What it doesn't say there is that it's a bit tricky/expensive to get Hope brakes in New Zealand (where the guy's from), so he got the doctors to cut open his hand instead of cutting through the brake, and that same lever is now back on his bike.
Tights/knee warmers in this weather?
Is that how you bleed brakes these days?
