What's this bike meant for? Why does it have a big gusset anyway?

Anyway, to answer the "how can you have 5 On-Ones (and P-X) that are sufficiently different to be worth owning?":

We’ve recalled the frame from The Bike Chain, replaced it with a new one, and now have our first “slight second”

Wow that's quick. Mark can you show us pics of the replacement?

It's sold now. Bummer. I'd liked to have tested that for them. 17st round Golspie/Laggan's trails for a few days would give it a decent work out I reckon.

New toy, finished yesterday although waiting for the new wheels to arrive.

First impressions very favourable indeed. Climbs well and is awesome pointing downhill, need time to get used to the slacker head angle on the flat as it's different to my race bike, but really pleased so far.
