Planning a 3 day jaunt next month, I have a GPX file of the whole route but want to separate it into 3 days / 3 separate routes that make the whole
following advice from wahoo live chat (new wahoo unit in the post as we speak) as to where to go / what sites to visit, I must be missing something as I'm now 2 days in trying to separate the route into 3…can I work it out?!? Can I ****…
Looking for some help in the form of someone who might be kind enough to do it for me or someone who can explain how to do it like they’re talking to a 5 year old
help please…
I'll chop it for you.

Earlier this month I needed to split the Lon Las Cymru GPX into 5 days, so I used GPX.studio. Never used it before, but it took me about 10 minutes which included a couple of false starts.
Komoot can do this but probably a premium feature
I needed to do the same thing to split the King Alfred's Way into 5 days including adjustments for where we were staying each night. I used GPX.studio as well and while I found editing the actual GPX very straightforward I forgot to edit the individual track names (hidden away in the file structure) which made it come up a bit odd on RideWithGPS, and the Strava -> ELEMNT app integration was not as smooth as it normally is (the routes appear in the ELEMNT app, but don't seem to load correctly and therefore don't sync across to the head unit).
I ended up loading up the individual split routes from the head unit itself which worked just fine.

Yes, it is.
@soundninjauk - why didn't you just use the 9 route segments on the KAW webpage, no work involved and we found less "strain" on the phone app with a smaller route.
@gazzab1955 Great question. Mainly because I wanted to top and tail each day with the route to and from the accommodation as I was paranoid of cycling past the left turn on somewhere like Salisbury Plain or the Ridgeway. Partly user error, and it did make the days seamless once they were loaded up.
