I'm hoping to run this route sometime in the spring, and as I have not much to do this weekend was thinking of riding it on the bike. I've not yet looked at a map, so this is just an idle thought. Anyone done it? Good route? I'd like to stick to the running route if possible, but I'm not sure where the bridleways head, and guess it'll be busy with walkers if the weather's nice this weekend.

Ta

Gareth

I believe some of the running route is on private land, And then goes off piste at different points from memory Whernside deviates quite a lot.
I have done the cyclo cross race again some private land. I hope to be fit to do the fell race in april. You can buy maps from Pete Bland with the official race route and alternatives routes printed on.
Does that help?! Prob not!! ๐Ÿ™„

It's not legal to ride big sections and will wind up landowners - if that bothers you?
