HI Guys i have a 2010 Yeti asr7 with with what they call a 1 1/8th to 1.5 head tube, they do not state that it is tapered. I thought that was the definition of a tapered headtube but i look on the Hope tech headset pdf and they say that tapered is called E2. The two external measurements given for the E2 lower cup and a normal 1.5 are different. Obviously they are correct but does that leave me with having to use the Hope pic n mix to buy a new headset, as in a separate 1 1/8th top cup and a 1.5 lower? Im wanting to fit Fox tapered forks to the frame. thanks for any advice 🙂
2010 ASR5c has: Top cup 33.9, bottom cup 49.7. Works Components or Dartmoor do compatible headsets if you don't want picknmix. Otherwise buy two and use top from one and bottom from the other.
