After my (cheap Chinese) lights failing on the way down Haldon hill at speed, it's time to buy some more.
I'd be looking to use them for commuting and night-ride duties. I need about 2.5 hours or so and have been looking at the Hope R4. That said, the revo dynamo looks good, any experiences or others I've missed?

gloworm's are awesome. Have got the old version but they are great. Weigh very little and tons of light

Rutland Cycles have Exposure lights on discount, worth a look. Still unconvinced by the cheapy chinese offerings.

Can only recommend what I have tried. Like you the cheap chinese ones I had suffered from shite batteries. My C & B Seen ones were good but not without problems (but sorted under warranty with no issues). Current and best lamp with no issues, great light, great battery is the Gemini Duo. You can find them for £130 with 4 cell battery pack.

Hmm, some good thoughts there - have spent all evening hunting round and looking at different setups for bar and helmet light.
