I'd been running a Hope Mini Mono 140mm Rear caliper with a +40 IS-to-IS adaptor with a Hope 183m rotor. All was perfect.
I then obtained another Mini Mono caliper, but the 160mm version. So I assumed a +20 IS-to-IS adaptor would be fine, and I went ahead and bought one.
But the rotor hits the upper part of the inside of the caliper. I can only assume I need a 180mm rotor... 😕

Sounds abouut right, you were probably lucky with tolerances on the original, 180mm being specced for IS, with 183mm introduced for post mount.
