Yellow Jersey travel insurance alternatives

Tried to buy single trip insurance for a trip in August, but they can only do it up to 3 months in advance. Would rather do it now so I'm covered if something happens before, but last time I bought insurance for a bike trip they were by far the best option. Anyone else worth looking at in the meantime, or should I just hope nothing bad happens in the next month?

Can you buy cheap cover from someone else to protect you from stuff happening in the interim, and then add in the MTB cover closer to the time w yellow jerseyย

I guess that's an option. Bit annoying, but would work.

Worth being careful around what cover you are buying. If it is just to cover pre booked accommodation and travel you should be ok, but if you are on a package with e.g. guiding, I don't think many insurances cover cancellation for that sort of thing.

Snowcard? Never had any bother booking a long way in advance. They do good bike options not just winter sports!

Cheers, will have a look. Never come across this no advance booking thing before. People book holidays more than 3 months in advance!
