After some hard work by local riders we now have a pump track. I managed to get down to last nights bedding in night and grab a little crappy video. These things are awesome fun!

That looks mint. Some of the chaps riding it in the video appear to have the same problem I have with not being able to carry speed round the berms. Very frustrating when someone comes flying through off the brakes and you relealise it's nothing to do with the design of the track, just your own crapness. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Sadly work prohibits vimeo ๐Ÿ™

Happily I know PT's are ace ๐Ÿ™‚ Treat the berm like a roller on it's side, drive into it and float out. Spot the exit and let the bike and berm do the work under you. Have faith it'll hold you (which it will if it's built properly).

"Getting" how to ride a PT is just like first learning to ride a bike, once it starts to come it gets easier and easier.

Avoiding lots of squishy suspension, run rock hard tyres (something with less knobbles if poss') and flat pedals. All helps a bit, IMO.

PT's rock!

It's a sandy/gravely riverbank/beach in darkest Mid Wales.

The kids have been making Dirt jumps down there for years
