If Thursday counts...

I had a spin along the Moray Coastal Trail from Findhorn to Lossiemouth and back. Well, I took to the beach a lot of the way. Lovely day. It's been ages since I was along there and timed it pretty good as the gorse wasn't horrendous.

Of course it counts if there's pics of bikes outside.

Crap pictures, but a brilliant ride last night (Thursday) with @el_boufador on the gravel bikes. 48kms. Out on improving trails out of Leeds to Otley Chevin, up high with views of the town. Then back in to urban-land with some canal, ginnel and dodgy back-streets cruising. Couple of pints & double chicken wings at our usual.

Lunch with Kitty at Jay's Grave.

Looks like a lovely day but it was blowing a gale and freezing cold.

Surprisingly dry but still ruddy windy 25 miles, 3,000ft over the Purbecks, found a lost dog and a slight diversion/ route adjustment to reunite with the owners sister who’s dog sitting, and an ice cream stop in Swange.

I went out for 2hours this morning in the pissing rain, soaked....not often you'll find me not enjoying being out, but this has to go down as one of my most miserable times on a bike...ever.

Winter can ****ing do one anytime it likes now,...

Pictures not required

I drove 1.40hrs to the FOD, rode my eeb 200 yards, the dropper post suddenly sunk and wouldn't stay up despite a quick dismantle and lube. Gave up(last straw in a bad morning)
Went to go out in my canoe but paddle was in the shed which the other half had gone off with the key to.

Drove 1.40hrs home again and went out with the dog...

Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

He is one cool looking mutt though so nothing lost.
Another Golfie ride for me this morning but no pics as it turned in to a two mates encouraging each other in to a nice flowy session with no stops.

Spent the weekend walking and riding, best of both worlds. Looks like spring may well be here 🤞

Peg

Took our Peg out for her first ride around the local trails. She’s a bossy cow but she loved it.

Pushing the boundaries of MTB on today's ride. Skinny slicks, but flat bars and flat pedals and no lycra. Some of the ride was not on tarmac...

We managed a short break down Skipton way, mostly exploring on foot but had chucked the bikes in the van so squeezed a loop in.

New, more Hertfordshire mud appropriate tyres make the gravel bike actually rideable again. Delightful.

Quick 30km blast around the local lanes and byways. I've only lived here a month now so still very much exploring what's good.
