[Closed] XTR M970 chainset tool? TL-FC35?

Has anyone got one I could borrow or even buy? Got to remove a left hand M970 crank and the tool is deffo required. Cheers ๐Ÿ™‚

Do you 'really' need it? I've tapped mine off with a rubber hammer and they are fine if you are careful

slug - Of course I would but will see if my lead on buying one comes good

Rob - tapping it off will put a bit of force on the soft splines as it's not pulling evenly, so it may work but not ideal.

Used the tool on Rob Collivers M970 XTR cranks. They were so tight, that the tool broke, using a big lever in the hole.

Ended up with a Dremel and cutting them off. Fortunately they were destined for the bin.
