[Closed] xtr m960 or m970

I have the option of either the older m960 xtr 'jonesed' i.e. chopped polished and set up for SS OR a standard current m970.

The m970 I think allows me to use a 32T ring on the outside if I wanted to run either a freewheel or rohloff with 54mm chainline as well as 47.5mm - a useful trait. Its also cheaper. The only reluctance I have is how good the m960 is vs the relative availability of m970 and it's looks which I am ambivalent about it being a great crank but not being so keen on the looks, I guess I could also polish the outer face of the arm...

Anyone experience of the older crank? I would run a CK BB
