Morning All

Just a quick question. I stripped my rear mech for a good clean and it wasnt until I went to put it back together I noticed that one side of the top jockey is flat and the other is ramped. Should it go in ramped side to the wheel or away from the wheel :-/

I think they have a rotation direction arrow on them?

XTs are the same. If the wrong way round it fouls the inner cage plate IIRC.
As you're holding it the LHS goes against the inner cage plate.

There is writing on one side (and an arrow as mentioned above)
The writing side faces 'outwards' ie. away from the rear wheel.

if you put it in the wrong way round and look it will be very obviously not centred correctly
