Anyone using it? Can it run with just the little ancillary shift buttons? The ability to run a triple and a long rear mech has certain temptations when thinking about my next disc braked dropped barvrough stuff bike.
I have it and yes you can run with an R600 shifter if that's what you mean.
Yes, I've got it, well a stripped down version as I don't use the dashboard as I don't need the info. you can use it with the climbing switches but not the sprint shifters. I use the proper RHS shifter though. You do need a junction box A though, either the mtb dashboard or the road 3 or 5 port under stem version.
I run the drop bar R785 shifters with Di2 XTR mech on my cross bike as I wanted the clutch function for off road. Other than the mounting bracket needing a bit of a file down to make it work properly with a teeny 11-32 cassette it is perfect (otherwise the B tension was always too strong).
