Is there anything to be gained performance wise from swapping to XT from SLX?

If so, where's the best deal for the current XT brakes sans rotors (already have XT on the bike)?

I have XT's on my SS and SLX's on my DH bike. The only noticable difference is the bite point adjuster on the XT's but I like the feel of my SLX's so on my XTs I just wound the bite point adjuster right off / in (?) so it's the same as the SLX's.

Personally I wouldn't say that the bite point adjuster warrents the extra money spent out. The XTs have a slightly better quality to them and I am not sure if they are lighter but if your SLXs aren't broken I wouldn't really worry about the difference.

I have both & would say no difference. I believe the biggest performance factor with Shimano brakes is down to how well bled the system is.
