Bought a 36t from JEJames (they were cheapest) & it just fits on my Atlas... Standards or something

AFAIK, it was only the older granny rings that needed filnig a bit to clear the BB, but I've always used Deore on my XT HT2s and I've never had to do it.... The new Deore cranksets are HT2, so everything fits now
