There are many things I'm prepared to pay for in life, many I feel are not really worth the cash but i still pay. But on principle I point blank refuse to spend 4 quid on a cm square piece of plastic just because shimano couldn't be assed to include it with the shifter..
Any good bodges out there, duct tape? Etc Etc?

I used Gorllla tape. It's still there and my shifter still works. Job done.
