Possibly a very stupid question, but where can I get hold of the little plastic cover that replaces the indicator screen on an XT shifter?!

9 or 10 speed? I've got some spare 9s.
From memory the cover plate is already incorporated into the underside of the indicator body. Small round thingy. No need to buy separately.

Not on the newer shifters.
M770 have them tucked behind the windows. Newer M780's don't.
I ordered mine from Petra cycles - about £3 each? Was early last year.

enfht, cheers, I was hoping that might be the case! Just need to find a stupidly small screwdriver to take the indicator off now!!

You'll need the other side as well.
