I had to take mech apart and rebuild after a branch incident and completely removed the B Screw. It sits in a small plastic housing, called a 'plate' part 10 on here which wont go back in as flush as it came out. Looks like its just a guide anyway ? Seems to be working ok but the tiny guide 'plate' is a bit mangled.
so my question is/was, is this just a wee guide to stop the screw either cross threading at beginning/undoing while in use ?
Thanks
basically he same as nylok nut, stops the bolt unscrewing. You can use threadlock if it won't go back
excellent, thanks daver27
