Can you help me? Just purchased a M780 mech from ebay and I can't find any markings to indicate if its the GS or SGS version.
What is the distance between the jockey wheels on the GS or SGS?

Around 100mm is probably SGS. All I can say when not near one to measure. Might be able to google the lengths though.

Just got home and measured the cage 80mm between centres so I guess its a GS so I'll be trying 2x10 or 1x10 on the new build. Thanks for the information.
