[#4389559]

got a set me xt m775 brakes and the last 2 rides i've been on they have lost pressure and had to pull lever right to handle bars. Replaced pads and re bled both and today it happenede again, about 20 miles in it did the same. When i bled them i leave overnight with tops off to get air out. Do you think there is a leak or maybe air in system as its a bit weird for both to go. Anyone else know how to bleed properly or had same problem? Any help, thanks. ๐Ÿ™‚

I had similar symptoms, it turned out to be the calliper piston seals.

If you are bleeding properly you don't need to leave the reservoir caps off. Do it from the bottom up and use the proper Shimano kit. It really does make it a dawdle.

Normally by buying a new one with Shimano

Your callipers should get replaced under warranty as there was a manufacturing fault with some batches.
