Anybody know if these brakes use the same olive and insert as the newer shimano brakes. I have had a stupidly long front hose for ages now and feel it is time to sort it out before it wraps round a branch and kills me! plus people have been pointing and laughing! cheers.

There is only one olive and insert (part number 8H2 9802) so AFAIK it will be that one you need.
Remembering Shimano spare part codes is a bit sad I know!
