I'm doing a job up there for a week and gonna be staying over in digs.Any good riding to be had?
I've heard of Hopton woods,is this just for downhillers?
There's a Hopwas woods (I think) but I've only been round it once and didn't think it was interesting. But it's on the A51 so you can look at it while you're driving past on the way to Cannock Chase.
Cheers John ,I live near cannock and ride it every other week or so.I was looking for some out the door riding in the local area to unwind after work.
Start @ whittington golf club and follow the trail that runs around the perimeter,it will take you through the old married quarters of the barracks across the footie pitches then straight across the road onto the firing ranges then keep going straight you will then hit hopwas woods loads of tracks!
