composite cage has weird jockey wheels with a single hole rather than on a conventional mech!

Sorry, but I'm failing to see why they would have different jockey wheels than the medium or long cage models?

because the long cage has a different pivot for the wheel with a fixed pin AND the securing bolt - runs on a weird multi hole bush, whereas on this one the jockey wheel has a metal plate that is fixed to the composite cage and 1 hole

I think the year of manufacture is the issue the top one has the weird double hole on models after 05 iirc but it changed at some point ...my lbs asked me the year when I replaced mine so i am guessing it changed at some point.

the short cage has a composite cage instead of a metal one - that is the main difference here
