can i run 26/42 or does a 26t ring have to be run with a 39t ring?
i'm assuming the latter as the ramps wont line up with the bigger jump in teeth?

never mind - im being thick. There are no ramps on the inner ring only the outer, so it 'shouldnt' matter.....
*puts an 26t XX inner ring on order*

Not sure on that combo but I wanted to run a 28 inner with the 39 outer and shifting was very poor.

well an xx inner is less than 320 at Bike-Discount so i may as well give it a go - the X0 outer rings are 55euros so i could always buy a 39t to match at a later date....
