Has anyone took the collar off so as to bung some grease under the seal? I dont want to force / break it, but shirley its just screwed on ?

Perhaps let the air pressure out first aswell (?)

Yes, you go first and let us all know ๐Ÿ™‚

I queried X-Fusion about the seal and this is the reply I got:

Hey Alan,

The seat post require very specific tools to service. Unless you are an authorized X-Fusion service center then you will not be able to service our seat post. To help lubricate that seal just drip a bit of chain lube on the seals and cycle it through. You can also use slick honey on the stanchion and cycle it through a couple times.

Cheers,

I've tried the oil but it needs doing before every ride.
