Have you got a postcode for the Duke?

Waiting on a headset to get my new Inbred built up, but hoping to have it done by Wednesday evening, and would be good to come riding round Wyre with some people who actually know the trails, as opposed to turning up and taking a guess (which is what I usually do there!)

as it's been raining since i was there saturday, so it'll be a lot gloopier, take something to sit on in the car as you'll be covered in mud unless you are one of "those" people who use mud guards

I was talking about the sweet pale young M boy. After the fire road sprint back to the duke he will be all shakey and defenceless. This is when mick will show you where the hose pipe is. If I were you I would take your bike home dirty. He will start by splashing you playfully then attack you with a full bore disorientating dowsing to the face and the groin. This will inevitably lead to you being wrapped in a towel and his strong arms wearing only your socks. No one will hear you cry from his car boot as he drinks his pint before driving you back into the woods for the real tour of the wyre. Ah fond memories.

I still remember the last bloke I dragged down into the woods....

'I'm scared.' I just responded, 'How do you think I feel? I've got to walk back by myself."

total moving time, 1hour 30, distance covered 9 miles....
The Somme in WW1 was less muddy! But an ace ride none the less.

Great fun last night, camber and caravan both contained sphincter puckering moments as did 8' drop, don't think I've pedalled downhill that much before ๐Ÿ˜ฏ and the chicken pathia afterwards rounded off a splendid evening ๐Ÿ˜€
