Thinking of exploring Wyre Forest, but hear it can be a pain if you're not clued up.

Would an OS map be of any help in helping me find some of the hidden gems?

what jes said

also, given how wet it is at the moment, possibly worth saving your first visit til its dried out a little (or frozen over) as it is especially hard going when its muddy down there.

Was in there today, it's as bad as I've seen it for years. Maps are useless in there, there are some group rides that could be worth tagging on with them.

Needed waders today rather than nates

I agree with mboy about waiting for frozen conditions or a "dry" spell if such a thing exists, I tend to stick to the fire roads or ride somewhere else after this level of rain, it will be with no exageration hub deep in mire.

As per Mantastic try and link up with the group rides that meet at the Duke William.
