I was out with a couple of mates yesterday on the road bikes and we decided to stop for refreshments. We found a nice cafe with a table outside to enjoy the nice weather. One of my mates has a bit of a personal problem so outside and away from the crowds was a good place to have a nice quiet private chat.
But then what happens? Gimpy mountain biker waddles along and tries to sit at the table. Completely ignorant to our privacy and just stands there waiting for some kind of response. Well Duh! I mean, wtf? Do you want a hug or what? A private conversation is just that, private!
I ride a road bike and a mountain bike, so live and let live is a bit of a philosophy.
So, if that was you in Shipham, a bit of sensitivity please.
