Managed to finish early to get out for a couple of hours in the calm before the storm.
I went to Wharncliffe today for the first time in ages. So wet it was like taking a bath. The trails are absolutely battered.
48k on the SS gravel bike this afternoon. My legs are complaining now ...
Every time I ride that bit of the Chevin someone has a pop at me, Miller lane must be a bit rough on the gravel bike
Been away all week, so was keen to head out for a ride today. I figured that they were all exaggerating about the wind. But when I got to the top, the wind was almost comical, so my plans were abruptly curtailed and I turned for home!
is that Cave Hill @johnhe -- you're a glutton for punishment up there today!!
@tractionman: yep. I live close by, so it’s my local. But it was just too much at the top. At least I’d no risk of a tree falling on me!
Raining in Peebles but snowing up at the mast.
Much, much nicer day today in Belfast:
Fair play to all who got out! I didn't, partly due to the storm, partly due to visiting friends, and partly because I just couldn't be bothered.
Invisiframed new hardtail frame instead. Hopefully I'll get that built up this week for singlespeed 'fun'.
Full mudguards and mud spike on the front I reckon.
Went out for a quick ride on Friday before the storm started.
Wasn't very exciting so no pictures of that.
Didn't really want to ride on saturday or sunday with the wind the way it was so, just went for a walk instead. Props to anyone that got out , good effort.
Got out this morning to make up for my two missed days.
30K and 1500 meters of a very wet Golfie.

42nd Cleland reunion ride for me on Sunday. Only one Cleland due to weather, but a nice Brother Cycles Mr Wooden and my not so nice Merida Big.Trail 400 made it out for a few miles round Wendover.
