OK, to cut a long story short, I got my old Rock Lobster frame out of the basement and decided to resurrect it. I took it to my LBS to have a new BB fitted and confidently ordered a 119mm BB. I picked up the frame last week and when I came to install my Middleburn cranks I noticed that the old BB was in the box and it's actually 113mm..
My intention is to build up the bike over a few evenings and then see if this mistake causes me any chainline issues - but even without a chain fitted it looks wrong..
Should I give it a go?
Or give up now and take it back to the shop and tell them I'm an idiot?
Any advice appreciated..

take it back. you will get awful gear shifting issues esp. with a discrepancy that large.
