Any recommendations? Broken radius and ulna now out of plaster, but been told to put a support on it, then armour over that, for riding.
ive used these and they are spot on, give loads of support!

Cheers, don't know if you'd know the difference between these three?

Is it worth getting one with a thumb loop type thing?
have the second one...ID957..
meanwhile only for FR/DH use anymore,
can really recommend it...
I've used the 661 Wrist Wrap Race and can recommend it.
Reason i went for the one i linked was because of the sizing, figured it would save sending them back if they didnt fit ๐
They also fit over your gloves fairly easy, not sure the one with the loop would?
Guessing those go under the gloves? Do these really provide armour, or just support?

They fit over the glove
ones i linked go over the glove, they have 2 foam discs in but can use one if prefer. They give loads of support and prevent your wrist from bending back over.
still have comfortable movement though on the bike

As far as I'm aware, the idea of wrist protection is to prevent the wrist from being bent backwards rather than to provide armour against impacts. I use some Dainese wrist guards whilst snowboarding that have helped me avoid injury in many nasty falls! They are quite old though and don't look like the current ones, more like these only the protective strip is a lot chunkier. They need to go on under roomy gloves though, which could be more of a problem for cycling. I'd have thought that these, along with some decent gloves (with gauntlets if you're being really serious!) would provide all the protection you'll need.
EDIT: something like the 661 wrist-wrap might be more appropriate for cycling though, as it goes over the glove apparently (see above!) as long as it offers the same level of protection!

I used this one when recovering from my wrist injuries, very good.

Works well, used after broken wrist. Can use over a glove. Forget it's there on a ride too, can get a little hot on a warm day but nothing bad.
Ordered, cheers all.
What did you go for? Just out of interest......
The Wrist Wrap Race, as it was recommended by like 5 people here. I'll give it a try and see what it's like.
Good choice.
