With flat bars, perhaps. I can't work out quite why it looks so wrong.

Maybe, but I'd need to see a pic of what it looked like before it melted.

Funny, I think the Globe above is gorgeous (and miss mine a lot) but the giant just looks like a lady's bike to me.

Hmm, largest size is tiny. Bars would still be too low.

Looks like it needs a suppository shoved up it's arse to stop it straining so much, if it's not careful it's gonna have a prolapse and drop it's colon all over the road, why do uber large bike companies build shitting dogs?, if you want an example of how to do that sort of cross/roadbike then look at shand

I love their new Stoater FT all terrain tourer type bike

[img] [/img]

Yet i'd also love a Skinnymalinky road bike , you can keep your plastic carbon wunda bikes, this is how a bike should look.

A thing of beauty and a 16lb build weight without compromising the ride is easily achievable.

And their t-shirts are rather good.....

Im a fan of Giant bikes but that is just nasty, not sure what the target audience is really, maybe some New age Cali hippies?

They appear to be covered in writing, so no, no they're not 8)

Anyway, the Shands are lovely, but then the frames are £1k on their own.

I did ask Giant, and it's a more town/pop the shops alternative to the Revolt.

No more pictures of Shand bikes please. I said I wasn't buying a new road bike for the foreseeable future.

That Giant would be perfect for commuting. Drop bars, disc brakes, decent tyres, space for a rack and guards and you'd never have to worry about it being stolen. Result.

The bikes not too bad on the eyes, but that Audi looks like it was designed by an American in the seventies 😯
